Arkansas State Land Information Board - The State Land Information Board was created in 1997 by Arkansas Act 914. Governor Mike Huckabee appointed twelve initial board members who first met in 1998. Each member serves for a term of four years. There are three members representing each of these major interest groups: State, City/County/Local Government, Private Sector, &Higher Education. The Board supports economic development and an improved quality of life for Arkansas citizens by providing basic spatial data infrastructure, by coordinating geographic information activities, and by creating short- and long-term strategies that will result in improved decision making, effective asset management, and reduced costs.
ESRI - The company's focus is on producing excellent software and delivering exceptional service to users. Federal Geographic Data Committee - The Federal Geographic Data Committee coordinates the development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI). The NSDI encompasses policies, standards, and procedures for organizations to cooperatively produce and share geographic data. The 17 federal agencies that make up the FGDC are developing the NSDI in cooperation with organizations from state, local and tribal governments, the academic community, and the private sector.

Open GIS - The Open Gis Consortium, Inc. (OGC) is a not-for-profit membership organization founded in 1994 to address the lack of interoperability among systems that process georeferenced data, and between these systems and mainstream computing systems. OGC's mission is to give the world's information systems a new connection to physical reality by making georeferenced data behave like just another standard data type in systems of all kinds.
PCI - PCI has been developing industry leading geospatial software since 1982 and has continuously been a tireless supporter for the advanced study of remote sensing, digital photogrammetry, GIS, cartography, and all earth sciences in academic institutions around the world.
Safe Software - Safe Software was incorporated in 1993 and is located in Surrey, B.C., just outside of Vancouver. Since incorporation, Safe Software has successfully executed a variety of projects pertaining to the translation, processing, modeling, and distribution of spatial data. Safe Software has worked with the ESRI Spatial Database Engine (SDE) since before it was an ESRI product, and has experience with many other spatial DBMS systems.
