On-Line Mapping

While the UASL System is not a an line web mapping system it's architecture supports a variety of applications.
A second web mapping application is the Interoperable GeoObserver (I GO) - I GO is a new interoperable map viewing client written in XML, XSLT, HTML, and JavaScript. I GO implements OpenGIS Consortium's Web Map Server Specification 1.0.0 enabling map images from multiple map servers to be viewed in an overlaid map display. I GO was designed to be flexible and easy to use allowing the NSDI Clearinghouse node to open I GO through linked metadata, as well as, providing functionalities found in most web map clients.
