This year’s CADIS project, sponsored by the Beaver Water District, focuses on the issues of protecting the Beaver Lake watershed.
The CADIS and CAST staff bring a unique combination of skills and tools to the problems threatening our region’s water supply. Using remotely sensed data in conjunction with geographic information systems, the CADIS students are able to provide Beaver Water District with valuable information about the current status of the watershed.
The physical and socioeconomic landscape of the Beaver Lake watershed has been characterized at multiple scales from regional to sub-watershed.
