State Highway and Transportation Department - The mission
of AHTD is to provide a safe, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing
and environmentally sound intermodal transportation system for the

State Land Information Board - The State Land Information
Board was created in 1997 by Arkansas Act 914. Governor Mike Huckabee
appointed twelve initial board members who first met in 1998. Each
member serves for a term of four years. There are three members
representing each of these major interest groups: State, City/County/Local
Government, Private Sector, &Higher Education. The Board supports
economic development and an improved quality of life for Arkansas
citizens by providing basic spatial data infrastructure, by coordinating
geographic information activities, and by creating short- and long-term
strategies that will result in improved decision making, effective
asset management, and reduced costs.

Federal
Geographic Data Committee - The Federal Geographic Data
Committee coordinates the development of the National Spatial Data
Infrastructure (NSDI). The NSDI encompasses policies, standards,
and procedures for organizations to cooperatively produce and share
geographic data. The 17 federal agencies that make up the FGDC are
developing the NSDI in cooperation with organizations from state,
local and tribal governments, the academic community, and the private
sector.

GIS - The Open Gis Consortium, Inc. (OGC) is a not-for-profit
