Center for Academic Excellence Building

In fall 2007 a new 100,000 sq ft Center for Academic Excellence Building will be opening on campus. The Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies will be one of the tenants along with the Information Technology Research Center, Computational Dynamics, Digital Content Production Labs, Language Labs, Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Network Operations, a Cave and Access GRID node. There will be specialized teaching labs for remote sensing, photogrammetry and mapping science.

Web Cam:

Walton College has set up a web cam to view the CAEB construction. There will be three initially and a fourth later that cover
the entire site, including CAE and Walker Hall. This camera covers the CAE from the north.

These are fixed cameras that refresh every 2 seconds. Every 30 minutes we capture a still image that will be indexed for time-lapse display.
