The downtown Farmer's Market is open through the spring, summer and fall and is a great place to by fruit and vegetables, flowers and to meet people. http://www.fayettevillefarmersmarket.com/

For a small town, travel to and from Fayetteville is exceptional because of the presence of the rapidly growing Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (Code XNA). There are nearly 100 flights daily arriving and departing. Non-stop flights service is available to Los Angles, Newark, New York-LaGuardia, Minneapolis-St Paul, Chicago, Charlotte, Atlanta,
Dallas, Houston and Memphis.

New Center for Academic Excellence Building

In fall 2007 a new 100,000 sq ft Center for Academic Excellence Building will be opening on campus. The Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies will be one of the tenants along with the Information Technology Research Center, Computational Dynamics, Digital Content Production Labs, Language Labs, Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Network Operations, a Cave and Access GRID node. There will be specialized teaching labs for remote sensing, photogrammetry and mapping science.
