Center for Academic Excellence Building
In
fall 2007 a new 100,000 sq ft Center for Academic Excellence
Building will be opening on campus. The Center for Advanced Spatial
Technologies will be one of the tenants along with the Information
Technology Research Center, Computational Dynamics, Digital Content
Production Labs, Language Labs, Computer Science/Computer Engineering,
Network Operations, a Cave and Access GRID node. There will be specialized
teaching labs for remote sensing, photogrammetry and mapping science.
