Remote snsing hardware includes the Optech ILRIS-3D laser scanner, the Konica- Minolta Vivid 9i, an ASDI field spectroradiometer, a Raytheon 250 Thermal Imager, two Nikon D70s and one D200 cameras with multiple zoom and fixed focal-length lens, and a towable boom-lift that can elevate any of these sensors up to 55 feet above the ground. CAST also operates a TerraHawk Airborne Imaging System equipped with a MS4100 sensor configured for color-infrared image (Color IR, G-R-NIR). This system is integrated with a GPS acquisition control system and a gryo-stabilized mount for efficient imaging in agriculture, urban and forest applications.
