| As part of the distribution of the project several Virtual Exhibit's were constructed. Virtual Exhibit's allow the user to download a short interactive movie that the user can interact with by rotating an object or navigating through the scene by placing the cursor over the image and holding down the left mouse button. *Some of these VR's are large and may take a few minutes to download on lower connections. recreation of a brass hawk's bell, also known as the Clarksdale Bell,
which was found at Parkin and at Clarksdale, Mississippi from which it
derived it's name. |
Deerskins
similar to this design would have been found throughout the homes hanging
on walls and used as cover and clothing. |
Garden
tools, such as this garden hoe, would have been used to work the corn
fields surrounding the Casqui village. |
Pecans
were abundant in the area and was one of the food staples of the Casqui
people. |
This
is a recreation of a drinking urn that was found near Parkin. The actual
urn is located in the Arkansas Archeological Museum in Fayetteville, AR. |
