Here is some more information on how these 360s were created.
The panoramas were created using three kinds of complex stitching software. The first type was used on the views of the Square and Mt. Sequoyah; it is called VR Worx. The second piece of software, VR Worx Object Viewer, doesn’t really stitch photos together, but instead arranges them like a series of faces on a polygon. This minimizes distortion and maintains high photo quality at the cost of smooth motion. Object Viewer was used on the views from the 50-yard line of Razorback Stadium, the Greek amphitheater, and all the sports facilities at the University of Arkansas. It should be noted that in the Razorback Stadium and the Bud Walton arena, you can move the camera up a little, so you can see more of each building. The last piece of software used is Canon’s Photo Stitch Suite. This piece of software was used on the view into and out of the Razoback Stadium and the views of the Castle in Wilson Park. |
