If you suspect illegal dumping on land near your property or somewhere within the watershed, contact Washington County Environmental Affairs or Boston Mountain Solid Waste District.

 

If you suspect illegal construction practices and notice non-functioning silt fences, lack of hay bales, or muddy water running off of a construction site, contact Washington County Environmental Affairs or Arkansas Department of Environmnental Quality.

 

If you are experiencing an erosion problem on your property, contact Audubon Arkansas .

 

If you are on a septic system, you should have it tested regularly and cleaned at least once a year. Just because the plumbing inside your home appears to be functioning properly doesn’t necessarily ensure that the entire system is functioning properly. Contact the Arkansas Department of Health for more details.
