Chris has been involved with CAST since 2006 mainly working with the Center's EAST Initiative team, educating 2-12 grade students in the use of GIS, GPS, Web Design, and 3D visualization software and techniques. Chris has professional experience working in GIS/GPS, Cartography, Urban Planning, Secondary Education, Web Design & Development, Remote Sensing, and human geographical research. Previous research focus includes spatial analysis of nomadic settlements near Petra, Jordan working with the Petra Project.

RESEARCH INTEREST:

GIS & Urban Morphological analysis of recent settlements in remote regions, especially in Jordan.
Pedagogical research into effective practices of GIS/GPS training and education.
