ACTIVITIES

  • Designed the logo and website for CI-TRAIN (Cyber-Infrastructure for Transformational Scientific Discovery) and implemented it in an open source content management system.
  • Worked with the Arkansas’ Natural Resource Commission (ANRC) to develop a system to disseminate wetland related program data and activity reports for participating agencies thus simplifying the analysis of existing and historic data, while quantifying the wetland types, quality, and abundance within Arkansas.
  • Created an interactive approach to residential subdivision management for the Center for Business and Economic Research integrating ASP.NET geospatial visualization tools with Microsoft Virtual Earth, 2006-present.
  • Instructed and provided support to students in the use of visualization software, working with the EAST Initiative, 2006-2008.
  • Created and maintained a method for tracking space management and building room usage on the University of Arkansas campus, 2005-present.
  • Created and maintained a web-based application for the management of Arkansas Stream Team information and data through both web mapping and form entry techniques, 2007-present.
  • Created and maintained a prototype mapping system the processes NOAA satellite location data and automates the production of user-defined reference maps of individual migration routes and current mallard locations in real-time through Google Maps, 2004-present.
  • Created a web-based solution to teach visualization and geospatial technologies to students in the EAST Initiative, 2000-2002.
  • Developed migration plan involving complex scripts for the complete automation of workstation upgrades within Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and trained coworkers on their use, 2002-2004.
  • Designed, developed, and maintained a multitude of commercial websites for local businesses, 1998-1999.
  • Transformed a ten-computer lab using Ark-Net into multiple labs, classroom computers, multiple servers, and sophisticated software worth over a million dollars, 1996-2000.
