
Kelcy Sagstetter is a PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania in the Ancient History graduate group. For the last two years she has been a fellow at the American School of Classical Studies in Athens working on her dissertation, which concerns continuities between the 6th century BC Athenian tyranny of the Peisistratids and the 5th century BC Athenian naval empire.
Current Work
Her current project with CAST is to scan damaged inscriptions from the period with the Breuckmann 3D white light scanner in order to recover letters which are not visible to the naked eye.
