Ostia Antica 3D Data

In May 2007, researchers from the UofA (including officials from CAST and also from the Classics and Architecture departments) collected a large amount of 3D data using both the Optech ILRIS-3D and VIVID 9i laser scanners at Ostia-Antica, the ancient port city to Rome.  The data was collected in preparation for University of Arkansas Honors Colloqium, Visualizing Roman the City, where students would process the data.   Visit the Ostia Antica 3D Scanning pages to learn more.
