Description: This raster map shows the number of frost-free days experienced throughout the seven state area of the lower Mississippi Valley. The number of frost-free days ranges from 130 to 149 days in the Great Smoky Mountains of eastern Tennessee to over 300 days in extreme southern Louisiana and Mississippi.
