About CADIS
CADIS is a partnership of business, public, and academic sectors helping high school students to become key contributors to their community. In the CADIS program, high school students spend their summer defining and solving important community problems. The EAST Project is creating a base of technology-savvy students with strong problem-solving skills. CADIS merges support from the community (e.g. the Bank of Fayetteville, the Northwest Arkansas Council, and the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce), as well as national companies, with technical assistance from the Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST) and guidance from various Arkansas state organizations. The result is an ongoing summer internship program that produces valuable information tools for our community, as well as young people that are well on their way to becoming the community leaders of the new millennium. Please take the time to check out the results of the past summers projects to see what you think.
