
We have decided to provide the raw data used to build this map:

counts
per county.
Users of this information should understand that each state is responsible
for specific site data. We contacted each one and each compiled its data to compute a "total number of archeological sites per county". It is also important to realize that the data collection occured over a period of 3 years (1991-1993).
