Land use/Land cover categories as derived by the Center for Advanced Land Management Information Technologies (CALMIT), from Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) Data for 1990.

Viewing or Transfering Maps/Data to your local machine: In order to view/download graphics, you should have a viewer like xv [UNIX] or Cshow [PC], or ghostview for Postscript documents [UNIX and PC].
If you do not have these you can download maps/data as follows.
If using Netscape : select Save Next Link As... from the File Menu, then click on the images/metadata icon to download the file so it can be used with other software packages.
If using Mosaic : select "Load To Local Disk" from the Options Menu, then click on the images/metadata icon to download the file.
