NRCS Study Area

The study area selected for this project represents all counties where at least 15% of the land has been recorded as farmland in the 1987 Census of Agriculture, minus the areas identified as having at least 50% Federal land.

Viewing or Transfering Maps/Data to your local machine: In order to view/download graphics, you should have a viewer like xv [UNIX] or Cshow [PC], or ghostview for Postscript documents [UNIX and PC]. If you do not have these, select "Load To Local Disk" from the Options Menu, then click on the images/metadata icon to download the file so it can be used with other software packages.
