| This world wide web based operational prototype of the Woodruff county soil survey was developed in 1998 at the Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST) in collaboration with the NRCS. It contains the same information as the NRCS printed soils surveys and was designed to illustrate how the PDF format could be used to create an interactive map in a low cost and easily accessible electronic format.
