hjhfAn Assessement of Arkansas Public Drinking Water Supplies |
|
A source water assessment is intended to provide a basis for developing, implementing, and improving source water protection programs. In 1998, the Arkansas Department of Health formed a project team to delineate assessment areas for public water intakes, to inventory significant contaminants within those assessment areas, and determine the susceptibility of each water supply. These assessments will focus public health programs, and assist Arkansas citizens in protecting their drinking water.
