Abstract:
This data was based upon the USGS Elevation data for the
developed and available for the State Arkansas in 1998. All
of
the 30m DEM's for Arkanas were patched together by Tom Reed
at the USGS office in Little Rock. For those areas where a
30m
DEM was not developed, Tom used the 80m DTM data from the USGS.
Purpose:
These data were used for the Arkansas Source Water
Protection
Project (1998-2002). However, it was previously
created by the USGS Mid-Continent Mapping Center in Rolla,
MO from individual quadrangle maps and then patched
together
into seamless, quarters of Arkansas by Tom Reed at the USGS
offices
in Little Rock.

represent a range of slopes that were calculated for the
Source Water Protection
Project in Arkansas. These ranges of slope were dictated by

Arkansas Department of Health- Engineering Section, Lyle
Godfrey.
