SOUTH DAKOTA

Whistling Elk Village (39HU242)

The results of the magnetic gradiometry survey at Whistling Elk, SD;   Magnetic data showing the central hearth, at least 3 central support posts, and extensive burning along the walls of an unusually large house at Whistling Elk Village, SD;   The results of the electrical resistivity survey at Whistling Elk, SD;
Multiple depth resistivity data were acquired at Whistling Elk Village, SD, in an area bisecting the western fortification ditch immediately below the bastion loop;   Resistivity data showing the walls and entryway of an unusually large house (10 m wide), probably used for ceremonial purposes at Whistling Elk Village, SD;   The results of the electromagnetic conductivity survey at Whistling Elk Village, SD;
Ten 15 m ground penetrating radar transects were run over a 5 m length of the fortification ditch at Whistling Elk Village, SD, each separated by 50 cm;   Data fusion of three geophysical surveys at Whistling Elk Village, SD, achieved through RGB color compositing;   Cultural interpretations at Whistling Elk Village, SD, achieved through comparison of resistivity, conductivity, and magnetic data sets;

WYOMING

30-30 Winchester Site (48CA3030)

Magnetic gradiometer data from the 30-30 Winchester Site;

48WE917

Results of a portion of the magnetic survey revealing a number of discrete clusters of anomalies;   Electrical resistance survey was tested over a small (20-x-20m) area within an area containing magnetic anomalies suspected to be caused by hearth, house, and pit features;
