Shallow conductivity at Mound 6, Wright Memorial Mounds, Ohio. The EM38 has such a shallow depth of exploration that it should be little affected by elevation or curvature. However, it still shows low readings over the mound. This means that the soil must be sandier or rockier within the mound than adjacent to it.
