Project Name: Wright Memorial Mounds, OH (33GR30);

Reference: Bevan, B.W. (1996). Geophysical Surveys Over Mounds at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Geosight, Pitman, New Jersey. Prepared for Mark J. Lynott, National Park Service, Lincoln, Nebraska.

A resistivity sounding made just to the east of Mound 5. This was a flat surface. The changes in resistivity with increasing electrode spacing are related to the changes in resistivity with increasing depth. This sounding shows that the soil is moderately stratified; it also shows that the deepest detectable layer has a higher resistivity than the layers above it.
