Contour map of the magnetic intensity over a colossal Olmec head (Monument 61) that was buried at a depth of approximately 5 meters. The head was found under the anomalous area indicated by the triangle marker in the lower right-hand corner of the map. The area at the center of the map was covered by a large artificial pond, where no measurements were made.
