Results of depth response experiments with the Bartington Susceptibility Meter and Field Coil. Sensitivity appears greatest at the surface and decreases with depth. Approximately 75% of the response is obtained within the top 4-6 cm. Approximately 90% of the response comes from the top 10-12 cm. The field coil measures effectively 0 as a height of 20 cm is reached.
