Magnetic results at Primeau's Trading Post (mid-19th century), near Washburn, ND,
showing overall layout of the structure in gray scale (tinted blue) and as a stacked
trace plot showing relative magnetic magnitudes. Clearly defined is an inner
compound, room blocks and interior building lines, the outer wall, and
concentrations of iron or fired areas (large dipoles). The principal building stone
was probably a local and relatively magnetic sandstone. The Missouri River lies to
the right.
