Magnetic map in the vicinity of Sylvester Manor, Shelter Island, NY. The principal warehouse district was immediately south of the inlet, which shows extremely noisy deposits probably due to the presence of numerous iron artifacts. The triplets of large magnetic anomalies represent steel-post tree anchors.
