Project Name: Bellinger Mound (12SJ6), IN;

Reference: Schurr, M.R. (1999). Geophysical Surveys of Middle Woodland Mounds in Northwestern Indiana. Department of Anthropology, University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana. Prepared for the Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology, Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

Resistivity survey results for the Bellinger Mound Site with an elevation contour overlay (0.1 m interval). The circular area of slightly low resistivity in the central portion of the survey area corresponds to the mound. The areas of high resistivity (red) to the east and west of the mound are attributed to a shallow plowzone at this site.
