Combined resistivity and magnetic field gradient data collected over the site of the historic mission at Pueblo San Marcos. Resistivity data is shown as a color image map. Magnetic field gradient data are overlaid as color contours. Subsurface architectural features are clearly visible in both data sets. Rather than being redundant, the two data sets compliment one another. Because these two methods measure different physical properties, each method is able to define features that are not apparent in the other .
