Each rock art site is reconstructed using a combination of data from the 3D laser scanner, photos from the actual site, and 3D models of site objects created in SoftImage. Digital video is also acquired for each site for additional site documentation purposes and to also serve as a reference for creating each site reconstruction. It is hoped that the digital video will improve each models affiliation with the actual site.

Finally, a QTVR presentation is also created using a combination of the different

media resources. These include the 3D data, the digital video, additional imagery from each site, textual descriptions and much more.

Because each of the rock art sites is unique, the methods used to create each site reconstruction will very slightly. Therefore, this is only a general discussion of the methods used in this project.
